    Developer Built out designs for client projects as HTML/CSS developer for interactive department of ad agency; added interactivity to designs using AJAX/JavaScript; sliced comps and created optimized graphics for use in final build-outs; consulted with design department on technical viability of designs; supervised the work of development interns; created Flash video players and skins for use in client and in-house projects; converted raw video files into optimized FLVs for A/V department; created multimedia presentations for agency promotion. Designed comps for social networking profiles/applications and HTML emails. Participated in brainstorming discussions and concept meetings.

    Contract Designer/Developer Graphic design, concept art for a variety of print and interactive projects including brand identities, web site comps, web application comps, package design, and illustration; developed user interfaces for web sites and web applications using HTML/CSS; designed print and multi-media presentations and infographics for marketing and promotional materials; designed and developed HTML emails for marketing purposes.

    Birmingham, AL . 2002-2006

    Contract Web Developer Developed and designed web sites on a contract/freelance basis for independent music and visual artists, small businesses, non-profits, and corporate clientele; built-out fully functional designs using HTML, DHTML, and Javascript; worked closely with PHP developer to integrate front- and back-end code when necessary; developed Flash banners and interstitials; developed HTML email campaigns.

    Art Director Established in-house art department and led design team for Private Air, a 144-160 page bimonthly luxury-lifestyle magazine; directed substantial redesign of publication and corporate identity; designed feature editorial content for each issue and assigned remainder to design team; selected and processed all photographic content; managed editorial traffic flow; converted camera-ready ads to printer specs; designed and directed new ads; hired and assigned contributing artists and photographers; produced in-house, promotional, and sales documents; acted as liaison with printer; organized and archived electronic and hard file storage; designed and programmed corporate site.

    Art Director Led production department for 36–44-page alternative weekly newspaper; created all ad content, covers, in-house collateral; coordinated contributing artists; scanned and manipulated photographic content; acted as liaison with printer; supervised/produced ten 40–60-page special-issue insert publications; organized and archived electronic file storage; occasionally wrote copy and copy-edited.
